Wow, what a beautiful day in paradise. We are starting the process of getting the campground shaped up for the season. We have tons of tree limbs to clean up from the ice storm, leaves to rake, fence rails to replace, roads to redo, water valves to replace, and the list goes on. We still have snow on the ground and spring will arrive tomorrow. Actually, we have had snow on the ground since Dec. 18. It has been a long winter and we are so ready for 60 degree days like today. The telephone is beginning to ring for reservations. Of course you can make them online. Stay safe and have a great weekend - we will be out on the campground!!

Welcome to Boone KOA's blog site. This is our first experience with blogging so it will be interesting to see how it goes. Guess what, we can finally see grass on the campground for the first time since December. What a winter it has been!! We have a lot of tree damage and tons of cleanup to do as soon as it dries out a little. It is so wet now from all the rain and snow that even your feet sink when you walk so you can just imagine what anything with weight on it would do.
